01The Challenge

Retirement marketing often struggles with believability. Audiences are quick to spot campaigns that feel staged or unrealistic. Casting became the defining challenge. The brief called for beach walks, cycling, social gatherings, Harley riding, and outdoor lifestyle scenes across a full week of filming. The talent needed to look retirement age while still being energetic enough to sustain a demanding production schedule. Finding people who looked sixty-five but moved like fifty-year-olds is harder than it sounds.

02What We Did

The right couple was everything. Once we had them, production moved quickly across multiple Melbourne locations. One standout sequence involved the male lead riding a Harley while his partner sprayed him with a garden hose. Playful, slightly chaotic, and completely aligned with what the campaign was trying to say. Lighting remained premium throughout, and the campaign leaned into cinematic lifestyle moments rather than staged interactions. Retirement, after all, looked exhausting in the best possible way.

03How It Landed

The campaign rolled out nationally across digital advertising, outdoor placements, display villages, websites, and broader brand communications, presenting retirement as something active, social, and worth looking forward to.
